    Use this data source to retrieve information about an EventBridge connection.

    Note: EventBridge was formerly known as CloudWatch Events. The functionality is identical.

    Example Usage

    import * as pulumi from "@pulumi/pulumi";
    import * as aws from "@pulumi/aws";

    const test = aws.cloudwatch.getEventConnection({
        name: "test",
    });

    import pulumi
    import pulumi_aws as aws

    test = aws.cloudwatch.get_event_connection(name="test")

    package main

    import (
    	"github.com/pulumi/pulumi-aws/sdk/v6/go/aws/cloudwatch"
    	"github.com/pulumi/pulumi/sdk/v3/go/pulumi"
    )

    func main() {
    	pulumi.Run(func(ctx *pulumi.Context) error {
    		_, err := cloudwatch.LookupEventConnection(ctx, &cloudwatch.LookupEventConnectionArgs{
    			Name: "test",
    		}, nil)
    		if err != nil {
    			return err
    		}
    		return nil
    	})
    }

    using System.Collections.Generic;
    using System.Linq;
    using Pulumi;
    using Aws = Pulumi.Aws;

    return await Deployment.RunAsync(() =>
    {
        var test = Aws.CloudWatch.GetEventConnection.Invoke(new()
        {
            Name = "test",
        });

    });

          arguments:

    Using getEventConnection

    Two invocation forms are available. The direct form accepts plain arguments and either blocks until the result value is available, or returns a Promise-wrapped result. The output form accepts Input-wrapped arguments and returns an Output-wrapped result.

    function getEventConnection(args: GetEventConnectionArgs, opts?: InvokeOptions): Promise<GetEventConnectionResult>
    function getEventConnectionOutput(args: GetEventConnectionOutputArgs, opts?: InvokeOptions): Output<GetEventConnectionResult>

                             opts: Optional[InvokeOptions] = None) -> Output[GetEventConnectionResult]
    func LookupEventConnection(ctx *Context, args *LookupEventConnectionArgs, opts ...InvokeOption) (*LookupEventConnectionResult, error)
    func LookupEventConnectionOutput(ctx *Context, args *LookupEventConnectionOutputArgs, opts ...InvokeOption) LookupEventConnectionResultOutput

    > Note: This function is named LookupEventConnection in the Go SDK.
