intersight.ResourcepoolPool
Explore with Pulumi AI
Pool represents a collection of resource. The resource can be any MO which has PoolResource meta enabled. The resource in the pool can be reserved or unreserved by using Lease API, reserved/unreserved resources can be used in the entities like server profiles.
Create ResourcepoolPool Resource
Resources are created with functions called constructors. To learn more about declaring and configuring resources, see Resources.

ResourcepoolPool Resource Properties
To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.
Inputs
In Python, inputs that are objects can be passed either as argument classes or as dictionary literals.
The ResourcepoolPool resource accepts the following input properties:
- Account
Moid string - (ReadOnly) The Account ID for this managed object.
- Action string
- The pool is evaluated for resources with associated policies based on action. This action will help users to re-sync the resources for a pool.*
None
- The pool will not be considered for evaluation.*ReEvaluate
- The resources in the pool will be re-evaluated against the server pool qualification associated with it. - Additional
Properties string - Ancestors
List<Resourcepool
Pool Ancestor> - (ReadOnly) An array of relationships to moBaseMo resources. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Assigned double
- (ReadOnly) Number of IDs that are currently assigned (in use).
- Assignment
Order string - Assignment order decides the order in which the next identifier is allocated.*
sequential
- Identifiers are assigned in a sequential order.*default
- Assignment order is decided by the system. - Class
Id string - The fully-qualified name of the instantiated, concrete type. This property is used as a discriminator to identify the type of the payload when marshaling and unmarshaling data.
- Create
Time string - (ReadOnly) The time when this managed object was created.
- Description string
- Description of the policy.
- Domain
Group stringMoid - (ReadOnly) The DomainGroup ID for this managed object.
- Mod
Time string - (ReadOnly) The time when this managed object was last modified.
- Moid string
- The unique identifier of this Managed Object instance.
- Name string
- Name of the concrete policy.
- Object
Type string - The fully-qualified name of the instantiated, concrete type. The value should be the same as the 'ClassId' property.
- Organizations
List<Resourcepool
Pool Organization> - A reference to a organizationOrganization resource. When the $expand query parameter is specified, the referenced resource is returned inline. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Owners List<string>
- (Array of schema.TypeString) -(ReadOnly)
- Parents
List<Resourcepool
Pool Parent> - (ReadOnly) A reference to a moBaseMo resource. When the $expand query parameter is specified, the referenced resource is returned inline. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Permission
Resources List<ResourcepoolPool Permission Resource> - (ReadOnly) An array of relationships to moBaseMo resources. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Pool
Type string - The resource management type in the pool, it can be either static or dynamic.*
Static
- The resources in the pool will not be changed until user manually update it.*Dynamic
- The resources in the pool will be updated dynamically based on the condition.*Hybrid
- The resources in the pool can be added by the user statically or dynamically, based on the matching conditions of the qualification policy. If the pool contains both statically added resources and resources added based on the qualification policy, the pool type can be classified as hybrid. - Qualification
Policies List<ResourcepoolPool Qualification Policy> - An array of relationships to resourcepoolQualificationPolicy resources. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Reserved double
- (ReadOnly) Number of IDs that are currently reserved (and not in use).
- Resource
Evaluation List<ResourcepoolStatuses Pool Resource Evaluation Status> - (ReadOnly) The resources are added to the pool based on conditions specified by the qualifiers. If there are any changes in the qualifier conditions or the properties of the resources, the corresponding pool will be evaluated for those changes. Subsequently, resources will be updated in the pool based on matching criteria. The status of these changes is tracked using ResourceEvaluationStatus. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Resource
Pool List<ResourcepoolParameters Pool Resource Pool Parameter> - The pool specific parameters. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Resource
Type string - The type of the resource present in the pool, example 'server' its combination of RackUnit and Blade.*
Server
- Resource Pool holds the server kind of resources, example - RackServer, Blade.*None
- The resource cannot consider for Resource Pool. - Resourcepool
Pool stringId - Selectors
List<Resourcepool
Pool Selector> - This complex property has following sub-properties:
- string
- (ReadOnly) Intersight provides pre-built workflows, tasks and policies to end users through global catalogs.Objects that are made available through global catalogs are said to have a 'shared' ownership. Shared objects are either made globally available to all end users or restricted to end users based on their license entitlement. Users can use this property to differentiate the scope (global or a specific license tier) to which a shared MO belongs.
- Size double
- (ReadOnly) Total number of identifiers in this pool.
- List<Resourcepool
Pool Tag> - This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Version
Contexts List<ResourcepoolPool Version Context> - (ReadOnly) The versioning info for this managed object. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Account
Moid string - (ReadOnly) The Account ID for this managed object.
- Action string

- Selector string
- An OData $filter expression which describes the REST resource to be referenced. This field maybe set instead of 'moid' by clients.1. If 'moid' is set this field is ignored.1. If 'selector' is set and 'moid' is empty/absent from the request, Intersight determines the Moid of theresource matching the filter expression and populates it in the MoRef that is part of the objectinstance being inserted/updated to fulfill the REST request. An error is returned if the filter matches zero or more than one REST resource. An example filter string is: Serial eq '3AA8B7T11'.
