A Reservation is used to reserve a place for a new resource in the resource groups.
Create ResourceReservation Resource
Resources are created with functions called constructors. To learn more about declaring and configuring resources, see Resources.

ResourceReservation Resource Properties
To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.
Inputs
In Python, inputs that are objects can be passed either as argument classes or as dictionary literals.
The ResourceReservation resource accepts the following input properties:
- Account
Moid string - (ReadOnly) The Account ID for this managed object.
- Accounts
List<Resource
Reservation Account> - (ReadOnly) A reference to a iamAccount resource. When the $expand query parameter is specified, the referenced resource is returned inline. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Additional
Properties string - Ancestors
List<Resource
Reservation Ancestor> - (ReadOnly) An array of relationships to moBaseMo resources. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Class
Id string - The fully-qualified name of the instantiated, concrete type. This property is used as a discriminator to identify the type of the payload when marshaling and unmarshaling data.
- Create
Time string - (ReadOnly) The time when this managed object was created.
- Custom
Permission List<ResourceResources Reservation Custom Permission Resource> - (ReadOnly) An array of relationships to moBaseMo resources. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Description string
- Details of the use case for which the reservation was created, such as decommissioning.
- Domain
Group stringMoid - (ReadOnly) The DomainGroup ID for this managed object.
- Expiration string
- The resource reservation includes an expiration date and a timestamp indicating when this management object will be cleared. The expiration date is set during the decommissioning process and is maintained for a period of 3 months.
- Groups
List<Resource
Reservation Group> - An array of relationships to resourceGroup resources. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Identities
List<Resource
Reservation Identity> - A reference to a moBaseMo resource. When the $expand query parameter is specified, the referenced resource is returned inline. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Mark
Fail bool - MarkFail is used to set the reservation status to Failed.
- Mod
Time string - (ReadOnly) The time when this managed object was last modified.
- Moid string
- The unique identifier of this Managed Object instance.
- Object
Type string - The fully-qualified name of the instantiated, concrete type. The value should be the same as the 'ClassId' property.
- Owners List<string>
- (Array of schema.TypeString) -(ReadOnly)
- Parents
List<Resource
Reservation Parent> - (ReadOnly) A reference to a moBaseMo resource. When the $expand query parameter is specified, the referenced resource is returned inline. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Permission
Resources List<ResourceReservation Permission Resource> - (ReadOnly) An array of relationships to moBaseMo resources. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Reservation
Selector string - The unique identification of the resource is based on the resource OData string, which is mentioned as part of the ReservationSelector. For example, 'Serial eq 'EM6259AE6B'.
- Resource
Moids List<string> - (Array of schema.TypeString) -
- Resource
Reservation stringId - Resource
Type string - The type of resource that is placed into resource groups or pools. Resource Type can be either 'compute.Blade' or 'compute.RackUnit' for pools.
- string
- (ReadOnly) Intersight provides pre-built workflows, tasks and policies to end users through global catalogs.Objects that are made available through global catalogs are said to have a 'shared' ownership. Shared objects are either made globally available to all end users or restricted to end users based on their license entitlement. Users can use this property to differentiate the scope (global or a specific license tier) to which a shared MO belongs.
- Status string
- (ReadOnly) The reservation status can be in the 'Created', 'Processing', 'Failed', or 'Finished' state.*
Created
- By default, a reservation is in Created status.*Processing
- A reservation is changed to Processing status for appliance mode resource claim requests.*Failed
- A reservation is changed to Failed status if the validations on resources, resource groups fails.*Finished

Reservation Tag> - This complex property has following sub-properties:
- User
Moid string - (ReadOnly) Moid of the user who created the reservation.
- Version
Contexts List<ResourceReservation Version Context> - (ReadOnly) The versioning info for this managed object. This complex property has following sub-properties:
- Account
Moid string - (ReadOnly) The Account ID for this managed object.
- Accounts
