netbox.Manufacturer
Explore with Pulumi AI
From the official documentation:
A manufacturer represents the “make” of a device; e.g. Cisco or Dell. Each device type must be assigned to a manufacturer. (Inventory items and platforms may also be associated with manufacturers.) Each manufacturer must have a unique name and may have a description assigned to it.
Example Usage

import * as netbox from "@pulumi/netbox";
const test = new netbox.Manufacturer("test", {});

Create Manufacturer Resource
Resources are created with functions called constructors. To learn more about declaring and configuring resources, see Resources.
Constructor syntax

@overload
def Manufacturer(resource_name: str,
args: Optional[ManufacturerArgs] = None,
opts: Optional[ResourceOptions] = None)

func NewManufacturer(ctx *Context, name string, args *ManufacturerArgs, opts ...ResourceOption) (*Manufacturer, error)
public Manufacturer(string name, ManufacturerArgs? args = null, CustomResourceOptions? opts = null)
public Manufacturer(String name, ManufacturerArgs args)
public Manufacturer(String name, ManufacturerArgs args, CustomResourceOptions options)
type: netbox:Manufacturer

Constructor example
The following reference example uses placeholder values for all input properties.
var manufacturerResource = new Netbox.Manufacturer("manufacturerResource", new()
{
ManufacturerId = "string",
Name = "string",
Slug = "string",
});
example, err := netbox.NewManufacturer(ctx, "manufacturerResource", &netbox.ManufacturerArgs{
ManufacturerId: pulumi.String("string"),
Name: pulumi.String("string"),
Slug: pulumi.String("string"),
})
var manufacturerResource = new Manufacturer("manufacturerResource", ManufacturerArgs.builder()
.manufacturerId("string")
.name("string")
.slug("string")
.build());
manufacturer_resource = netbox.Manufacturer("manufacturerResource",
manufacturer_id="string",
name="string",
slug="string")
const manufacturerResource = new netbox.Manufacturer("manufacturerResource", {
manufacturerId: "string",
name: "string",
slug: "string",
});
type: netbox:Manufacturer
properties:
manufacturerId: string
name: string
slug: string
Manufacturer Resource Properties
To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.
Inputs
In Python, inputs that are objects can be passed either as argument classes or as dictionary literals.
The Manufacturer resource accepts the following input properties:
- Manufacturer
Id string - The ID of this resource.
- Name string
- Slug string
- Manufacturer
Id string - The ID of this resource.
- Name string
- Slug string
- manufacturer
Id String - The ID of this resource.
- name String
- slug String
- manufacturer
Id string - The ID of this resource.
- name string
- slug string
- manufacturer_
id str - The ID of this resource.
- name str
- slug str
- manufacturer
Id String - The ID of this resource.
- name String
- slug String
Outputs
All input properties are implicitly available as output properties. Additionally, the Manufacturer resource produces the following output properties:
- Id string
- The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.
- Id string
- The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.
- id String
- The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.
- id string
- The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.
- id str
- The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.
- id String
- The provider-assigned unique ID for this managed resource.
