Creates and manages Scaleway MessageQ deployments. For more information refer to the API documentation.
Note: MessageQ is currently available as a
v1alpha1API. Breaking changes may occur.

Deployment Resource Properties
To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.
Inputs
In Python, inputs that are objects can be passed either as argument classes or as dictionary literals.
The Deployment resource accepts the following input properties:
- Node
Count int - Number of nodes in the cluster. Can be updated in-place via the Upgrade API.
- Node
Type string - Type of node to use. Changing this forces recreation of the deployment.
- Version string
- MessageQ version to use. Changing this forces recreation of the deployment.
- Name string
- Name of the MessageQ deployment. If not specified, a random name will be generated.
- Password string
- Bootstrap password for the MessageQ user. Only one of
passwordorpasswordWoshould be specified. Preferscaleway.messageq.Userfor additional users and password rotation. - Password
Wo string - NOTE: This field is write-only and its value will not be updated in state as part of read operations.
Bootstrap password for the MessageQ user in write-only mode. Only one of
passwordorpasswordWoshould be specified, andpasswordWois never stored in the Terraform state. Bootstrap credentials are immutable, so changingpasswordWoVersionrecreates the deployment: usescaleway.messageq.Userto rotate a password in place. - Password
Wo intVersion - Version of the write-only password. Required with
passwordWo. - Private
Network Pulumiverse.Scaleway. Messageq. Inputs. Deployment Private Network - Private network configuration. Can be added, updated, or removed on an existing deployment.
- Project
Id string projectId) The ID of the project the deployment is associated with.Note: Without
privateNetwork, a public endpoint is created. AddingprivateNetworkto an existing deployment attaches a private endpoint but does not remove the public one, so the deployment stays reachable publicly. Only the endpoint matching your configuration is reported inendpoints; use the MessageQ API or the console to list every endpoint.Important: Do not manage the same username both as bootstrap credentials on the deployment and as a
scaleway.messageq.Userresource.- Region string
region) The region in which the deployment should be created. Currently onlyfr-paris supported.- List<string>
- List of tags to apply to the deployment.

Import
MessageQ deployments can be imported using the {region}/{id}, e.g.
$ pulumi import scaleway:messageq/deployment:Deployment main fr-par/11111111-1111-1111-1111-111111111111
Note: The API never returns
userNameandpassword, so they cannot be recovered on import. If your configuration sets them, Terraform plans a replacement of the imported deployment because both force a new resource. UsepasswordWo(never stored in state, so never diffed) orlifecycle { ignoreChanges = [user_name, password] }to import an existing deployment in place.
To learn more about importing existing cloud resources, see Importing resources.
