Exporting AI System Logs for Compliance Auditing

The above program creates an
AuditSink
Kubernetes resource which captures logs according to the specified policy. In this case, we use"Metadata"
as the level which means the logs will include request metadata. The logs are then forwarded to an external service or URL specified in thewebhook.client_config
.Now, let's look at the AWS CloudWatch example for log storage:

In this AWS example, we configure a CloudWatch log group called
aiSystemLogGroup
with a retention period of one year (365 days), which is a common requirement for compliance. The logs collected from the AI system would be streamed to theaiSystemLogStream
within this group.These logs can now be used for auditing purposes, and can be queried using CloudWatch Insights or exported to an S3 bucket for long-term storage or further processing.
Remember to replace placeholder elements like
<external-log-collector-url>
with the actual endpoints or configurations relevant to your setup.
